Work as a Family

I just finished my last day working at Taco Bell. To say that I am sad would be an understatement. I really, genuinely, loved working there. I felt liked I belonged in that store. In the morning, when I was frying up all of the food for the day, I felt like I could do anything and I would be great. One of my co-workers, actually said that I fried all of the food in record time just like my brother: who worked there about three years ago.

Speaking of my co-workers, they were the ones that made working at Taco Bell something special. Every time I stepped through the doors of Taco Bell, I was greeted by awesome people who I had the pleasure to work with. We were like a family in my opinion and I loved that. I loved cracking jokes after we just finished the lunch rush. I loved sharing laughs at all times. I loved sharing stories about life events. Finally, I just loved being around everyone.

I had progressed so much in just three months of working at Taco Bell. I went from a rookie that did not even know how to make a burrito supreme, to one the best steamers in the whole store (I am not going to say that I am the best, because there are plenty of more experienced workers at the Bell). I even got offered a shift manager position within the first month and half of working there; there were plenty of other more experienced workers to choose from as well!

Today was the last day, my manager even said that she probably won’t be able to find a replacement for me because I was that good. I don’t know if she was just saying that, but I am a damn good worker. She also said that I don’t “have a lazy bone in my body.” My work ethic is top notch and I will give 110 percent at every task/job that I come across.

I loved my time at Taco Bell and would not change it for the world. Thank you Taco Bell for this awesome opportunity!
