Helping People succeed is Awesome

I like to help people out. Plain and simple. I was recently approached by my friend who suffers from ADHD. He is also in the process of returning to the military to become a officer after college. One of the requirements of being in the military is that you must be completely medication free for at least one full year. This is to ensure that he can still function out in the battlefield, even without his ADHD medication available.

Since he is not on his medication, he is having trouble concentrating on his school work.  That is where I come in to help. I am helping him make a planner everyday in order to stay on track with his work. I also am in the room with him when he is doing his big assignments, like long papers, to make sure that he does not get distracted.

He must maintain a 3.0 GPA in order to become a officer in the military. He currently does not have that, mostly because of the concentration problem. It is my job to make sure he gets to that 3.0 mark and stays ahead of it.

I will update my progress on how he did at the end of this semester.

I will leave you with the joke of the day:

Q: When is the best time to go to the Dentist?

A: At 2:30
