I have noticed that people have this assumption that because some black people live in poverty, it explains why there are many black people in jail. In my opinion, poverty is not the cause of crimes committed by black people. This is for the reason that there are many black people in poverty that have never committed a crime. Every race in the world has the ability to commit a crime, not just black people in poverty.
