Why does America have to be divided?

Hello,

Congrats to the 46th President to be elected for the United States of America: Joe Biden! I lean towards the right in my political views but I also understand that the United States has checks and balances in place for the three branches of government. This has allowed America to progress as a nation since the dawn of its independence from Britain, no matter who was in power whether it was the democratic party, republican party, or the Whig party it didn’t matter. This country is built on innovations and enabling its great people to innovate to compete in the market and expand the reach of human knowledge. Democracy is still the best form of government and I will still stand by it. I hate that the country is divided and I hope that someday this country will be unified. I also don’t enjoy seeing people say the President Trump is a bad person. Everyone has a bad past and present, no one is perfect and if someone says they are perfect they are not looking too deeply at themselves. Let me know if you disagree, but I think everyone is good until proven guilty. Maybe that’s just too optimistic but everyone is human and makes mistakes in their lives but at the ned of the day, humans need to stick together to survive. Anyway, this country was built by government and its military by declaring its independence but it thrived throughout the years through its innovations. I just want Joe Biden to continue to allow its people to innovate just like former President Obama and former President Trump. I am always amazed that a country that is less than 300 hundred years old could be considered a “super power” country in the world.  I know that was the past and the future holds more challenges but I want the United States to continue to be the “super power” nation like it has been since it abolished its isolationism policy and entered WWII. Thank you for reading and let me know in the comments your thoughts about the upcoming Biden presidency! I am optimistic of the Biden presidency, even coming from a Republican. But like I said I think that the party system needs to change, it is dividing the greatest country in the past 300 years apart. I want this country to remain great through its innovations in the global market.

  1. A couple funny spelling errors and an incorrect timing of the country’s founding (it has been 249 years), but I thoroughly enjoyed reading your take on the political divide.

    1. LaptopNation says:

Wasn’t referring to the official timing of the country’s independence from Britain, more so the general timeline when the US was just merely the 13 colonies.
